Easily manoeuvrable. Torqeedo motors don't need idling power and have an extremely high amount of thrust even at low revs. Thanks to the continuously adjustable forward/reverse drive, powerful, centimetre-precise manoeuvring is possible.
Simply charged. Torqeedo batteries can be charged quite simply from any power outlet.
High safety. The Torqeedo motor range moves in the non-hazardous low voltage range up to 42 V. There is, therefore, no danger of explosions or electric shock as far as the motors are concerned.
No service. Torqeedo motors are built not to require any servicing.
No racket. Torqeedo motors are so quiet, they allow normal conversation on board at full speed.
No petrol charges. “Filling up” Torqeedo motors is hardly worth mentioning – charging a Travel for example costs 6 pence. And with that, you can travel for over 10 hours at slow speed. Plus, with our solar charger on board, you can “fill up” with renewable energy for free.
Efficient energy conserver. Torqeedo outboards travel up to 20 nautical miles with a single charge, which corresponds to the amount of energy in just 20g of petrol!
No winter precautions. Torqeedo motors don’t need special treatment, even in winter. They can be transported and stored on all sides and start straight away in spring, even when they haven’t been used for long periods.
