
Torqeedo currently seeks a full time Customer Service Representative for their North American Headquarters located in Crystal Lake, IL.
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is involved in the day-to-day operations of processing sales, service and repair orders, customer phone support, and identifying and resolving customer’s technical issues in a timely and appropriate manner. The Customer Service Rep delivers a high level of customer service and satisfaction; works well in a team environment and can effectively prioritize and balance a demanding workload.
Job Functions:
- Processes sales and service orders.
- Handles all telephone calls from consumers, retailers/dealers and is responsible to provide quality technical support to customers who are having problems with their products. Requires advanced technical knowledge of the company’s products and services.
- Responsible for “upgrading the sale” whenever possible, assist customers with making purchasing decisions.
- Duties/responsibilities may vary according to department policy changes.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of customer service.
- Network experience in a centralized repair/troubleshooting/testing environment, or in a dispatch environment that included answering telephones, providing technical support and repair coordination.
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and professional in order to objectively interpret information.
- Ability to work independently to resolve customer inquiries, problems, or complaints.
- Ability to adapt communication styles and interact well with a large and diverse group of employees and customers in order to complete tasks.
- Ability to multitask and work in a none typical work environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years relevant customer service experience.
- Sales experience a plus.
- Excellent phone communications skills.
- Persuasive and professional.
- Technical understanding.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision\Dynamics a plus.
