COVID-19 CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Dear Torqeedo customers,
At Torqeedo, we are taking the current situation regarding the COVID-19 virus very seriously. We have instituted new measures to ensure the safety of our employees and customers while maintaining our business operations.
Is it safe to shop from your online store?
We work in accordance with the regulations of local government authorities to ensure that all appropriate and prescribed health and hygiene standards are maintained in our company.
When will I receive my order?
We are currently shipping online orders as warehouse staffing and local regulations allow. You will receive an email with tracking information for your order once it ships. We will monitor the situation closely and contact you if there are any further disruptions but please anticipate a delay of several days from normal shipping times.
Can I contact the customer service?
Our customer service is available for you as usual via telephone or email. As part of our employee safety plan, many Torqeedo staff are working remotely. Please do not visit our office or service facilities without calling ahead for an appointment.

Shipping costs for consumer
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs vary depending on country and are calculated as follows:
- Flat rate shipping charge
- Shipping costs for consumer
The flat rate shipping charge represents the basic shipping costs for an order. It ceases to apply as soon as at least an outboard motor, a battery or the Travel bag set are part of the order.
Shipping surcharges are imposed by our logistics partners for transporting bulky or hazardous goods. This applies to outboard motors, all batteries and the Travel bag set included in our product range.

Delivery times & countries
Where does Torqeedo deliver and when do shipments normally arrive?
Torqeedo delivers to end customers in the countries listed below. Certain islands may be excepted for which we cannot offer standard shipping. We will be happy to make an offer if you would nevertheless like shipment to these destinations.
Transportation times depend on where the shipment is to be delivered. Most of our motors are shipped as bulky or hazardous goods. This may result in slightly longer delivery times. The relevant carrier will provide information on the exact delivery date.

Shipping partners
Who will deliver my order?
We ship our products with UPS, TNT or DHL. We also have an extensive network of logistics partners (e.g. Ascherl, Heppner, etc.). We deliver our spare parts with UPS. DHL transports hazardous goods.
Payment methods with Torqeedo
How can I pay?
We currently offer the following methods of payment:
- Direct transfer: when you choose to pay in advance, we will send you an order confirmation by e-mail indicating our bank details.
- Credit card: we accept AMEX, Visa and Mastercard.
- Paypal
- Invoice: for Torqeedo dealers only.
The methods of payment available to you will be displayed during the ordering process. These depend on country, size of order and delivery address.
