2. Processing of personal data during the use of our website

Every time you visit the Torqeedo website, data and information from your computer system are automatically collected. This data and information are stored in the log files of the server. Torqeedo collects the following data:

- The website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrer),
- The sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website,

It is necessary for Torqeedo to process the data referred to in section 2.1 of this privacy policy in order to ensure the long-term functionality and security of the information technology systems and technology of our website. We do not require consent to set up necessary cookies. 8. Customer account and registration for further product offers

You have the option of creating a customer account on our website by registering as a customer with us. In the customer account you can manage your personal data. This means that you only have to enter your data once and can log in later via your e-mail address and password of your choice. The data is transmitted to us and stored in our webshop system Salesforce Commerce Cloud. In addition, they are transferred to our ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Navision to enable further processing.
The following data is collected as part of the registration process: mandatory fields: first and last name, e-mail address, addresses for invoice and delivery (street, house number, postal code, city, country) and, as optional fields: telephone number 1 and 2, address addition, company. 8.3
You can change the data stored in your customer account at any time. To do this, you must log in to https://www.torqeedo.com/en/account by entering your e-mail address and your chosen password. If you no longer need your customer account, you can have it deleted at any time through a short message via our contact options. Otherwise, your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or as soon as statutory retention periods have expired.

Documents can also be uploaded.
As soon as your message is sent, the following device data is also stored: your IP address as well as the date and time of sending.

10. Newsletter and Investor Relations News

You can voluntarily sign up for our free newsletter and our Investor Relation News. To do this, you need to register with your first and last name and email address. As soon as the registration message has been sent, we also store the IP address of the computer system used at the time of registration assigned by the Internet service provider as well as the date and time of registration.

In addition, newsletters and investor relations news are provided with a tracking pixel that enables log file recording and log file analysis. We will delete your data immediately upon receipt of your revocation by us. In exceptional cases, this can take up to 24 hours. Otherwise, we will delete your data if it is no longer required for the purpose of sending newsletters and investor relations news.
11. Remote Service
11.1
In addition to our products and drive systems, we provide you with a remote service. The Remote Service is used in particular to carry out advanced fault diagnostics and to collect detailed and long-term information on the individual system components.
11.2
As part of the Remote Service, we collect your first and last name, address, e-mail address, contract number, serial number, parameters of the system components, in particular power, runtime and temperature, as well as location information. Based on the transmitted data, we can carry out advanced fault diagnostics and start early detections, detect anomalies in individual components, record system and component performance, improve system stability as well as control algorithms and inform you about maintenance work that is due. In addition, we use your data in anonymized form for the creation of internal user profiles and to determine the requirements regarding component selection and design.

Your data will then be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. This is the case when the remote service is no longer required for the fulfilment of the contract.
