Wessling, Germany (13 May 2025) – Torqeedo, the world market leader for electric propulsion systems on the water, is kicking off the boating season with numerous test events in cooperation with its partners. At selected public watersports events, interested customers will have the opportunity to try out the latest electric drive systems for recreational boats before making a purchase.

Depending on the event, a range of motor models and experienced specialists will be available. Visitors can experience the performance, quality and ease of use of Torqeedo products firsthand.

From the Baltic Sea to local waters

The first event will take place on 17 May at the Ultramarin Boatshow in Kressbronn-Gohren, Germany. Exclusive test rides with the powerful Travel XP will be offered at the Ultramarin Marina, by Meichle+Mohr. With an input power of 1,600 watts, the Travel XP is the flagship of the Travel Family and is ideal for heavier boats up to two tons, as well as for demanding conditions in coastal waters.

Later in the season, Torqeedo's quiet electric motors will also be available for testing at major watersports events such as Kiel Week and the "Paddeln macht Spaß" tour.
