We are delighted that you have decided to register your Torqeedo product. Registration is free of charge and offers you a number of benefits:

Traceability is compulsory for boat drives

Like all boat drives, Torqeedo products are subject to national and European legislation covering equipment and products (e.g. the German Equipment and Product Safety Act, the EU Machinery Directive). They oblige us to take measures to ensure that products and components can be traced towards both the supplier and the customer. Should safety-relevant information become available with regard to your Torqeedo product in future, your registration will help us to contact you.

Increased theft protection – serial number traceability helps

Having the serial number of your product at our disposal means that we can identify your Torqeedo product as your property during any maintenance, repair work or claim processing. This may help us to assist you in recovering your property in the event of theft. Worldwide, of course. (It is unfortunately not possible to track stolen outboards using the integrated GPS receiver as the device only receives positioning data and has no transmitter function.)

Simply better informed

Whenever changes or enhancements occur that affect your Torqeedo product (for example in development or production) we will be able to contact you personally – if you so wish – and provide you with all the latest important news as it becomes available.

Make sure you register your motor and the batteries that go with it.

Please retain your proof of purchase. If service becomes necessary within the warranty period, we will require a copy of your invoice indicating the date of purchase.
